      Hi afronath12,
This is a really tricky one!

I think I will pick Alexander Graham Bell who invented the telephone, I use my phone all the time and think I’d be lost without it as I’m always ringing my friends and family. His is a great story as he only thought up the invention to help his mum and wife who were both deaf.

      Hi afronath12 – I’m sorry I dont’ have a favourite inventor 🙁 I don’t think I could name any inventors!
I always kinda like the people who invent really simple yet useful things – like post-it notes!

      Hi Afronath,
Thomas Edison – cos without him, we wouldn’t have light, radios, TVs.. computers, playstations etc etc! the guy’s a genius! You know, he didn’t do well at school as well cos his mind kept wandering off… he only had 3 months of official schooling! He is a true legend!

      oooh thats a tough one!

i think leonardo di vinci was very ahdead of his time and a very interesting character

more recently i think Vinton Cerf who first developed what later became known as the internet i.e. the interconnectivity between computers world wide in 1973. The invention of the system to place information on this system was later developed by Tim Berners Lee – the World Wide Web (WWW). These guys didnt get much money for their trouble- they believed it should be available to everyone, that information should be shared not sold.
