      Hi!
      Thanks for your question!
My favourite was biology. What’s yours?

      Hi there

      I’m a biologist but I did study all 3 for my A-levels.
I found chemistry quite hard but it’s the other type of science that I rely on regularly, to work out concentrations and the pH of solutions in the lab.

Oddly though, as I work in biology, my favourite science to learn about by reading books or watching TV programs on is physics- I love everything to do with quantum physics, theories of the universe and time travel etc! I don’t really like science fiction, just understanding different theories about the worlds formation and what they mean for the future. Maybe it’s a bit of escapism once I get home from working with cells and DNA all day!! 🙂

ooooh, this is actually quite a tricky one to answer. It would have to be a balance between chemistry and biology I think. At school I really liked chemistry, it just seemed a whole lot more logical and mathematical to me. I did biology at University though and haven’t done any chemistry for years now, so I guess at this point it has to be biology.

I like doing biological research, but I think the most interesting discoveries are coming out of collaborations that bring together researchers from biology, chemistry, physics, and maths.

hi there! hmm.. I liked them all cos I thought, in biology, maybe you could make people grow new limbs, in chemistry, you could make crazy explosives, and in physics, you could go from looking at the tiniest things like electrons to checking out planets that a billions of years away – so I thought this was all pretty cool and crazy stuff. I ended up doing medicine cos I felt like I could really help people with it, so I’d have to say biology. For me, a good understanding of chemistry and physics is also relevant to understanding biology cos I see them as building blocks – kind of like biology is complicated chemistry, which in turn is complicated physics… u?
