      Hi Lolly,
yeah, being a surgeon is GREAT fun!! I love operating on people because it’s really rewarding. You feel really good when you’ve saved someone’s life, or helped them in being able to walk or use their hands again, or taken away their cancer. It’s really inspiring. I won’t lie, it’s really hard work though, because you are on call a lot and you spend a lot of time in the hospital. but you know, when you enjoy your work, it’s fun even if it’s hard work. I do get so tired sometimes I just go home in scrubs cos I’m too tired to get changed! but I wouldn’t do anything else! Doing research on top of that is tough but it’s makes it all the more interesting cos you really have insight into how to apply your research to your patients. Do you wanna be a surgeon?
