      Hi Harry, cheers for Q! you know when you crunch open a chicken bone? Well, the bone marrow is that juicy brown stuff that’s in the middle of the bone – the hard bit on the outside is called the cortex. The bone marrow is where your blood is made and also where a lot of stem cells live. It also makes hormones and other things. So unlike what a lot of people think, bones are really alive and doing lots!
