• Question: i liked your powerpoint but thats on mice not humans could you tell me more about human stem cells!?

      Hi cheekymonkey,
      well, we’ve done loads of experiments on human stem cells. they are very similar to mouse ones. the reason we tested the drug on mice is to make sure it’s safe and it does what we think it’d do, which is to speed up the fracture healing. So now that we’ve shown that this drug works in mice, our next step, as you say, is to try this out in humans. We have shown that our drug can make human stem cells move and turn into human bone cells, so it’s really quite promising!
