  Good question. When IVF first started lots of people were worried that the babies would be born with disabilities or problems, this has not been the case and babies born from IVF are at no greater a risk than those not. Lots of IVF babies have now gone on to have their own babies naturally, including the first ever IVF baby Louise Brown.
  
  There have been lots of studies looking at this over the years and they all say that IVF is very safe!
