• Question: Earlier you explained about the experiments you do on mice. You said basically you break their legs. Even though you then fix the fracture afterwards, surely you shouldn't try to fix something that wasn't broken in the firstplace?

      hi hailey: you are right. The idea of our research is to try and help broken bones heal quicker. So unless the bone is broken, our drug is not going to do anything. So, the idea is to give this drug to patients who come in with broken bones and help them heal faster. To test this in animals, we’d first have to break their bones, otherwise there’d be no point just giving the mice the medication. Does that answer your question?
